<p><strong>Welcome to the&nbsp;SGA Elections and Appointments Committee page! </strong></p>
<p>Here at E&amp;A, our main focus is organizing and conducting all Smith Student Government Association elections, and appointing students to positions on SGA Committees as listed in the bylaws, requested by the administration, or requested by SGA Cabinet and Senate.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>What else does E&amp;A do?</em></p>

<li>We establish and publicize both the Fall and Spring Election timelines.</li>
<li>We supervise and oversee all-college and class elections, ensuring Smith elections are honest and fair.</li>
<li>We oversee the balloting on all-college referendums.</li>
<li>We coordinate campus-wide voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts.</li>

<p>The Sustainability Committee is currently discussing the following issues: composting on campus, clothing swaps and mending mentors, Dining Wrapped, bringing speakers to campus, and an Ecological Fair at the end of the year! <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of the Student Power Coalition (SPC) is to make visible the ongoing white supremacy, patriarchy, homophobia and other forms of oppression on this campus. We develop, encourage, and maintain student power, particularly of historically, institutionally, culturally disempowered communities, perform outreach and collaboration with other student committees, clubs, or organizations, and provide care and pursue necessary action or resources to preserve or improve the wellbeing of committee members. SPC is a collective committed to the care and protection of the student body, while engaging in monitoring administration to hold those in power accountable for harmful/uninformed decisions and actions.</span></p>
